Wow...

As I complete this short blog for this week, I am sitting at my desk in a hotel room overlooking Capital Hill in Washington DC. Ironically, our hotel is right beside a graduate school and the Department of Education building. I have have a very event-filled trip through the Teaching American History Grant. We have been to Greenbrier, Monticello, the Spy Musuem, The Miller Center, The National Museum of American History, The Natural History Museum(Smithsonian), and saw as many sights and monuments as 15 miles of walking in two days will show you.

Currently, I have read chapters 5-6 and will complete those assignments by Sunday night. This keeps me on track with the McCracken spacing guide, but one week off of mine. Our group has also been active in our activities as well. If anyone wants to see DC pictures, let me know...I have about 600.
