The past 12 days have been very full! I completed the work for chapter 15 early, and worked on my final for the rest of the week prior to completing it tonight. I am excited to have finished all my coursework, and to have completed such a fine program at a fine institute. I look forward to entering the administration area of education in the near future. I have learned a great deal in each of my classes, and I am sure that it will come in handy in the my future career.
I learned that curriculum entails much more than what I plan to teach my students in a given semester. I also learned that there are many models of development for curriculum, each one with its own positives and difficulties.
I also need to thank Dr. McCracken, Dr. Flora, Dr. Sellers, Dr. Arbogast, and all my classmates for all their guidance, assistance, and learning experiences on this educational journey.

Another week brings us closer to the end...
WOW! What an interesting week!! Internships have been full on, and time has been very limited. I have also not had phone service for three days(Finally restored tonight!!!) and no electricity last night. I have been doing a lot of reading the past several days, so I actually have chapters 11, 13, and 15 completed. Just have the quizzes, and activities to finish. I am also adding stuff to our group projects each time, which is keeping me even busier!! We are also almost finished with the crosswalk, too!! The summer classes are definitely winding down!
On another note, I received SLS test scores today, and I did pass with an excellent score!! I am so excited to have that obstacle crossed. Two weeks of classes and internship to go...I pray I make it!!!

Week of June 27-July 3
This week has been so draining. A very special person to my family and myself had some major medical problems arise, and he has been hospitalized. Thus, concentrating on my school work has been difficult this week.
HOWEVER, I have been able to get chapter 7 read and my mid-term assignments are complete and submitted. I will be finishing ch7 quiz and assignment in the morning. Yes, I will have to sacrifice some time on July the 4th to continue my education. If a soldier can give all for me, I can give a little time for my degree!
I have learned a great deal about models of curriculum development and have been examining and evaluating my own philosophy of educaton. I have thought about many problems and things I have seen as a teacher that I think I can do better as an administrator. Time will tell, but I am highly motivated and able. I have achieved my goals on many occasions, and this time WILL not be different. I will be an instructional leader who strives to meet the educational needs of all students. Until next time...
